Fantastic

Vintage Blog Post...
From Mendoza, Argentina comes 3 distinct single vineyard wines. Their name is La Posta del Vinatero , "the tavern of the winegrower". ...Two Malbecs and 1 Bonarda. They are all absolutely fantastic.
Running Brook Update #2
Vidal Blanc – The Vidal was the last varietal to be harvested. We finished harvesting it on November 12th and it looked/tasted fantastic. The juice chemistry test results were close to perfect so we did nothing but whole cluster press, settle the juice and ferment at a cool temperature.
Chile: the last day
Odfjell is a Norweigan-owned producer making almost exclusively red wines, including some fantastic Carignans.

Château Olivier Blanc, This was also fantastic with great acidity and vibrant citrus flavors and lanolin-like texture. The sémillon in this wine, ...really stood out and gave it a distinctness that separated it from the pack.

1995 Château Gruaud Larose - fantastic! One of the tightest wines I can recall - nice to hear some of the 95s are getting there.
Weekend Wino-ers: Merlot-quacious!
We had a fantastic food pairing for Merlot Night: Stuffed Portobello mushrooms with scalloped potatoes and baby spinach topped with a warm bacon-Bordeaux dressing.
